During the Final Four, there is one hour dedicated to THON families. Sunday featured the Final Four, which are the final four hours of the 46-hour marathon. The electricity was radiant throughout the entire BJC as Miller sang her hits such as, “Bored,” “Making Bad Decisions,” “Feel Something,” and others. To top off Saturday evening, national act Bea Miller took the stage to perform her hit songs. By now, you should be able to recognize signs that he needs to 'go', but if not, make sure he is let outside every few hours. An adult dog can hold it for around seven hours, give or take, but let your aging dog out more often as he grows older. Senior dogs need to eliminate more often than younger pups. The same goes for any other form of exercise do it frequently but in shorter bursts. Take your senior dog for shorter, but more frequent walks to keep him from becoming worn out while staying active. Demarco sings of his inability to maintain his love, yet able to still remember regardless. This theme of age is also mentioned in the album’s first single, “This Old Dog”. The frequently repeated chorus shows his hesitance in the transition to becoming someone who is described as “old and cold and tired and lonely." Yet, the lyrics are contradicted by Demarco’s soothing voice, accompanied by the calm strumming of the guitar in the background.
“Uh-oh, looks like / I’m seeing more of my old man in me / Oh no, looks like / I’m seeing more of my old man in me”. The first track on the album, “My Old Man” talks about his fear of growing old and turning into his father. Throughout the entire LP, Demarco references the fleeting aspect of age.
