Objectives can range from simply reaching the end of the level, to killing specific individuals. Presented from a third-person perspective, the gameplay centres around completing set objectives within a series of levels. In Hitman Absolution, the player assumes the role of a hitman named Agent 47. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world.
